The new fast funky Ruahine Kayak is designed for smaller paddlers, in the 50 to 70 kg range.
After discussions with a number of top Multi-sporters and Adventure Racers, it was decided that there is a need for a suitable boat for smaller paddlers, predominately women, who are moving up from a Swallow or a Sprinter and find an Opus too big and the "6 metre plus" boats too long. The result is our new "Rebel" kayak. At 5.65 m long, it is half way between the length of the Swallow and the Opus.
