Simon River Sports Adds The "Rebel" to its Line of Advanced Plastic Composite Touring Paddles August 15, 2001, Outdoor Retailer Summer Market: Simon River Sports is pleased to announce the addition of the "Rebel" to the SRS Touring Series. Lou Lukanovich, CEO and designer explains, "a lot of time in R&D has been invested by SRS to bring economy-priced, high quality plastic paddles to the touring market. Using proprietary plastic composite technology, our Touring Series of paddles are strong, very light and durable, and both the new "Rebel" and popular "Kicker" models are ideal for beginner to intermediate kayak paddlers." Adapted from our Performance Touring Series, the asymmetric blade design includes a pronounced scoop which maintains efficiency of the forward stroke while offering more resistance pulling the paddle through the water. The "Rebel", as all SRS paddles, includes options such as the E-Z Set three and two piece shaft adjustment systems which offer adjustability in length, and any feather so that one paddle can grow with almost anyone and can be used with many types and widths of craft.
